GREASEKILL 4

GREASEKILL 4 is a medium duty alkaline cleaner. Hot solutions of GREASEKILL 4 will remove most organic contaminations like oils and greases from almost all materials.

  • GREASEKILL 4 is a free flowing powder consisting of mild alkalies, water softeners, ionic and non-ionic surfactants. The product slowly absorbs water from the atmosphere and is best stored in a dry environment.
  • Hot GREASEKILL 4 solutions may be safely used on mild steels, stainless steels, cast iron nickel and nickel alloys, etc.
  • Hot GREASEKILL 4 solutions can be used for metal degreasing operations using immersion technique followed by forced wash by spray jet. GREASEKILL 4 solution will remove mineral oils, greases, cutting oils, lubricating oils and any associated inorganic matter from practically any surfaces.
  • Recommended concentrations though depend on soiling, are 2.5 to 10 % by weight of GREASEKILL 4 in hot water; clear solutions may not be obtained due to precipitation of hardness salts. The recommended temperatures for the best results are in the range of 60° C to 90° C (140° F to 194° F).
